Contact Improvisation (CI)
“Contact Improvisation is an evolving system of movement initiated in 1972 […]. The improvised dance form is based on the communication between two moving bodies that are [/can be] in physical contact and their combined relationship to the physical laws that govern their motion—gravity, momentum, inertia. […] Practice includes rolling, falling, being upside down, following a physical point of contact, supporting and giving weight to a partner.”

The first dance partner is the floor – you can decide yourself whether you’ll also want to get in physical contact with humans during the jam, or not.

STRUCTURE
* Beginning circle : getting to know each other, needs, orientation
* guided exercises to practice consent in dance aswell as contact impro techniques
– with all exercises there will be the option to make them in contact to the floor or wall, instead of humans
* open dancing (“Jam”)

Contact Improvisation (CI)
ist eine sich seit 1972 entwickelnde Tanzpraxis. Sie basiert auf der Kommunikation zwischen zwei sich bewegenden Körpern, die in physischem Kontakt stehen (können), und ihrer gemeinsamen Beziehung zu den physikalischen Gesetzen, die ihre Bewegung bestimmen – Schwerkraft, Schwung, Trägheit. Eins kann z.B. in Kontakt rollen, fallen, kopfüber sein, einem physischen Berührungspunkt folgen, ein Partni heben oder Gewicht geben. Die ersten Tanzpartner*innen sind Boden und Raum, – ob du auch mit Menschen in physischen Kontakt trittst, kannst du selbst entscheiden.

– bei allen übungen gibt es auch die Option, sie im Kontakt mit Boden oder Wand zu machen statt mit einem Menschen
