Hallo liebe Menschen!
In der nicht allzu queerfreundlichen Gesellschaft in der wir leben, ist es für uns als queere Menschen extrem wichtig eine Community zu haben, einen kleinen Rückzugsort, wo wir respektiert, akzeptiert, und in unserer Identität bestärkt werden.
Viele queere Menschen in Leipzig sind bereits gut vernetzt, aber lange nicht alle.
Um das ein bisschen zu ändern, organisieren wir einen monatlichen Brunch für ANTIQ*e Menschen (agender, nonbinary, trans, intersex, questioning) organisieren. Wir wollen einen Raum schaffen, in dem ANTIQ*e Menschen andere ANTIQ*e Menschen kennenlernen können (connecten, Frust ablassen, abhängen, aufladen, einfach zusammen sein), ohne dabei auf eine Party gehen zu müssen. Wenn ihr euch davon angesprochen fühlt, kommt sehr sehr gerne vorbei! Wenn ihr andere interessierte Menschen kennt, sagt ihnen gerne Bescheid!
Der Brunch findet am 10.03.24 von 11 – 15 Uhr in der W1 statt.
Wir werden Kaffee, Tee, vegane Milch, Waffeln (auch glutenfrei), Gurken und Brot bereitstellen und es wird Limos auf Spendenbasis geben. Bringt gern auch eure eigenen Köstlichkeiten für alle mit (tragt diese gern hier ein: https://cryptpad.fr/pad/#/2/pad/edit/gA3PzT3B4tXNeGaVkeH7mZCL/), sowie Besteck und Geschirr (die W1 freut sich außerdem über Geschirrspenden).
Es wird ein Buddysystem geben. Das bedeutet, dass mehrere Person als Buddys gekennzeichnet sein werden, die ihr ansprechen könnt, wenn ihr euch mit jemandem unterhalten wollt, nochmal fragen zum Raum habt etc. Jede anwesende Person kann gerne in die Rolle eines Buddys schlüpfen und diese jederzeit wieder abgeben. Es wird dabei immer darauf geachtet, dass mindestens zwei Menschen als Buddys ansprechbar sind. Des Weiteren bereiten wir im Nebenraum ein kleines speed-friending vor, bei dem ihr euch gegenseitig Fragen stellen könnt, um euch besser kennenzulernen. Damit ihr euch auch außerhalb des Brunches zusammenschließen könnt, wird es ein Plakat geben auf das ihr euren Namen und Aktivitäten schreiben könnt, die ihr gerne mit anderen Menschen gemeinsam machen wollen würdet.
Wir wollen, dass der Brunch für alle Brunchies (Leute, die am Brunch teilnehmen) so zugänglich wie möglich ist: Ein Barrierestatement ist angehängt. Es wird vor Ort auch Awarenesspersonen geben und unser Awarenesskonzept hängt aus. (Wenn ihr weitere Fragen bezüglich der Situation zur Barrierefreiheit vor Ort habt, fragt uns bitte!)
Wenn ihr Alkohol trinken wollt, klärt das bitte vor Ort mit allen Brunchies ab (nur ein enthusiastisches Ja ist ein Ja!), nicht alle fühlen sich damit wohl. Unsere Innenräume sind rauchfrei.
Wenn ihr Allergien habt, sagt uns bitte Bescheid, sodass wir das an alle kommunizieren können!
Wenn ihr weitere Ideen, Bedürfnisse und oder Unsicherheiten habt, kommt gern auf uns zu.

Ein vollständiges Barriestatement ist noch in Arbeit aber als vorläufige Version: Der Raum ist entweder über eine kleine Stufe (13cm) mit einer Türbreite mit einer Breite von 83cm oder über drei einzelne Stufen (14cm, 13cm, 7cm) mit einer Türbreite mit 96cm zugänglich. Eine Rampe ist derzeit leider nicht vorhanden.
Der Zugang zum Klo ist 60cm breit und das Klo ist nicht als barriefreies Klo designed. Wir haben allerdings Zugang zum barrierefreien Toilette auf der anderen Straßenseite!

Hello lovely people!
In the not too queer-friendly society we‚re living in, it is extremely important for us as queers to have a little community, a small retreat where we are respected, accepted and empowered in our identity.
Many queer people in Leipzig are already have such community, but not all of them.
To change that a little we are organising a monthly brunch for ANTIQ* people (agender, nonbinary, trans, intersex, questioning). We want to create a space where ANTIQ* people can can get to know other ANTIQ* people (to connect, to vent frustration, to hang out, to recharge, to just be together) without having to go to a party. If this sounds nice to you, feel very welcome to come along! If you know other interested people please let them know as well!
The brunch will take place on 10.03.24 from 11 am – 3pm at the W1 (ask us if you don’t know where that is!).
We will be serving coffee, tea, vegan milk, waffles (also gluten-free), cucumbers and bread, and there will be lemonade on a donation basis.
You are also welcome to bring your own delicacies for everyone (please put what you will bring here: https://cryptpad.fr/pad/#/2/pad/edit/gA3PzT3B4tXNeGaVkeH7mZCL/), as well as cutlery and crockery (the W1 is also happy to receive donations of crockery).
There will be a buddy system. This means that several people will be designated as buddies, whom you can approach if you want to talk to someone, have further questions about the room, etc. Every person present is welcome to take on the role of a buddy and give it up again at any time. We will always make sure that at least two people are available as buddies. We will have also prepared a small speed-friending session in the other room, where you can ask each other questions to get to know each other better. There will be a a little activity board on which you can write your name and activities that you would like to do together with other people so that you can get to know each other outside of the brunch.
We want the brunch to be as accessible as possible for all brunchies (people who attend the brunch). Regarding physical accessibility, see below.
There will also be awareness people on site and our awareness concept will be displayed.
If you want to drink alcohol, please make sure everyone in the room consents (only an enthusiastic yes is a yes!), not everyone feels comfortable with it. Our indoor areas are smoke-free.

A proper access statement is still in progress but as a preliminary version: The room is accessible either via a small step (13cm) with a door width of 83cm or via three individual steps (14cm,13cm, 7cm) with a door width of 96cm. A ramp is currently not available.
The entrance to the toilet is 60cm wide and the toilet is not designed as an accessible toilet, but we have organised to an accessible toilet right across the street. (If you have further questions regarding the situation regarding accessibility on site, please ask us).
