🌈🌺Queer Acestors Ritual 🌺🌈

Wenn wir an unsere queeren Vorfahren denken, fällt vielen von uns nur Stonewall ein. Aber wir waren schon immer da: In jeder Familie, jeder Stadt, in jeder Generation, an jedem Ort der Welt. Wir wurden verehrt und gefeiert, unsichtbar gemacht und verfolgt.

Wir als Bubble Kollektiv sehnen uns nach Community. Wir vermissen unsere Elders und wünschen uns Bezüge, die über sich selbt hinauswachsen. Deswegen haben wir euch schon letztes Jahr zum Queer Ancestors Ritual eingeladen – es war wunderschön, deep und gefühlt erst der Anfang. Nun haben wir uns zusammengesetzt, neu geplant und möchten jetzt mit euch weitermachen. Zum zweiten Mal lassen wir einen kollektiven Dreamspace entstehen, wo wir uns unsere Vorfahren vorstellen, sie durch unsere Stimmen hervorbringen und durch sie Resilienz und Hoffnung für die Gegenwart finden.

Das Queer Ancestors Ritual ist eine angeleitete kollektive Performance mit allen Anwesenden, von und für die Community, initiiert von bubble und einigen Kompliz*innen nach einem Konzept von Daan van Kampenhout.

Im Anschluss an das Ritual gibt es Drinks, gechillte Musik und ultra-leckeres Küfa-Essen, einfach Raum zum Dasein, Wirken lassen und sich Austauschen.

Alle Einnahmen gehen an antirassitische und queerfeministische Initiativen.

🌈🌺Queer Acestors Ritual 🌺🌈

When we think of our queer ancestors, many of us only think of Stonewall. But we’ve always been there: in every family, every city, every generation, every place in the world. We have been revered and celebrated, invisibilized and persecuted.

We as a bubble collective long for community. We miss our elders and wish for relationships that transcend themselves. That’s why we invited you to the Queer Ancestors Ritual last year – it was beautiful, deep and felt like just the beginning. Now we have sat down together, made new plans and want to continue with you. For the second time, we are creating a collective dreamspace where we imagine our ancestors, bring them forth through our voices and through them find resilience and hope for the present.

The Queer Ancestors Ritual is a guided collective performance with everyone present, by and for the community, initiated by bubble and some accomplices based on a concept by Daan van Kampenhout.

After the ritual, there will be drinks, chilled music and ultra-delicious Küfa food, simply space to be, to let things happen and to exchange ideas.

All proceeds go to anti-racist and queerfeminist initiatives.
